thought i'd do some kinda update....
a little while back the rad started steaming
got a little annoyed as its the 3rd time coolant has leaked so bought a few bits to try and stop it happening again.
new VW rad
some gruvenparts
rad neck fitted to new rad, and pics of standard necks
i also bought a set of samco hoses
then came the joy of taking car apart to get to everything, seeing as its so squashed in there
old crack pipe vs new
fitted a new bonnet pull cable
then got bored of taking pics and got car back together, i assure you i fitted the bits
car all working again, but a bit dirty, sat around for 6weeks
taken today after a v.quick wash, now its sat outside work as normal.............until next time
nothing really exciting, can't actually tell/see all that work and money i just spent |

Looks well, love the wheels.
i too spent most of the day (Wednesday) washing, rinsing polishing and waxing, what a job in 24 degree weather

brake bits arrived today, the ones on car have started making noises now.
got the larger calipers already for the front, had them ages, so got discs, pads and hoses.
also got some rear calipers the other week and i'm rebuilding them ready to go on when i do the fronts |

i did them came out pretty decent.. tbh looks wise there isn't much i want to change on it.
thinking that alot of my steering problems are to do with the front being too low and the wishbones inverted.
may have to raise the suspension back up |

Good work mate.
They've come out good, and look pretty spiffing in the pictures.
You'll have to start showing her next year Jim. _________________ Smurf!
