Selling your car so that you can put money toward a new one is a process that starts well before you actually list your car for sale. It requires constant upkeep of the car throughout the time that you drive it. There are many factors that dictate a car’s resale value, such as mileage, condition, and age, but many drivers might not foresee the other factors such as aftermarket add-ons and maintenance issues.

One common culprit of lowered used car values is the addition of aftermarket products. When making upgrades to your car, it is recommended that you purchase the necessary parts directly from the dealer or the manufacturer to ensure authenticity. Aftermarket products from other companies often tend to bring down the car’s resale value. One exception to this rule, however, is if you plan to sell to a private buyer. He or she might be more willing – and might actually prefer – to buy a car with specific aftermarket parts, such as a top-of-the-line sound system.

Improper maintenance can also affect used car values. UK vehicles do require a yearly MOT test, but this can only do so much in ensuring that your car is in good condition. The longer that any car problems go unaddressed, the worse they get. In the end, either you will have to cover these and lose out on some of the money you receive from the sale, or the buyer will have to negotiate the price to a lower one to account for those costs.

The cosmetic condition of the car can be just as important as maintenance with used cars. The car should be free of dents and scratches, and you should keep the interior vacuumed and polished. It is easy for a buyer to tell whether the inside of the car was well maintained or if it was simply detailed before being put up for sale.

When you are ready to sell your car, you can get a car valuation that will tell you how much your car should earn based on its condition and age. The above tips can help you to get the best return on the sale so that you can put that money toward your next vehicle.

The evolution of the Volkswagen Beetle is one steeped in history. The decade long design began with an order from Hitler to Ferdinand Porsche in 1933 to create a “folkswagon” or people’s car that could fit up to 2 adults and 3 kids. This Volkswagen was to cost no more than a motorcycle and go about 100km/h. But because the war started soon after, the first Volkswagen Beetle known as the Volkswagen Type 1 didn’t roll off the assembly line until 1938. The Volkswagen Type 1 was officially named the KdF-Wagen (Kraft durch Freude or ‘Strength through Joy’) by Hitler at the start of Porsche’s project. After World War II, it became known as the Volkswagen Beetle.

The Volkswagen Beetle (Type 1) was an economy car was made by Volkswagen (VW) from 1938 until 2003. The original design was an air-cooled, rear wheel drive configuration with an engine in the rear and storage in the front as well as under the seats. The Beetle was known in the 1950’s for its comfort and its power in comparison to other small European cars due to it being designed to speed down the Autobahn. And due to its high quality standards in manufacturing, it became and stayed a top seller in the United States. The Beetle was one of the most popular customised and used cars on the planet.

In the March of 1953, a large single window replaced the small two piece oval rear window but then in August of 1957, a full width rear window replaced the oval one. And in 1964, the windscreen was enlarged and the side windows were increased in height to give the inside of the Beetle a roomier look. The Beetle has become the longest running and most manufactured car of a single design type in the world. us

With a reputation like that it is no wonder that in 1972, when number 15,007,534 rolled off the assembly line, the Beetle had surpassed Henry Ford’s Model T as the most popular car in the history of automobiles. The Volkswagen Beetle had also began what is considered to be the continental economy car which spawned the first wave of compact and subcompact cars in North America.

Volkswagen introduced the Volkswagen New Beetle in 1998. The New Beetle was built upon the Golf design but has the styling that was true to the original Beetle. But there were differences. The New Beetle placed it engine in the front and became front wheel driven with the storage in the back.

The 1998 version of the Beetle also had other similarities to the original Beetle such as separate wings, sloping headlamps, a high rounded roof and large round tail lights but can reach a top speed of 177km/h with a 0 to 60 acceleration time of 13.2 seconds. In 2010, Volkswagen said it was going to stop making the New Beetle in 2011.

Undoubtedly, the VW beetle has evoked passion and emotion into influencing motorists to visit their local show room buy a car and drive it off the forecourt, and be as proud as punch. Hippies could be seen hanging out of them at music fairs and car exhibitions- they were an essential part of the 60′s, 70′s hippie era! For advice on the latest VW Beetle http://www.Buyacar.co.uk are available online and would be happy to take your order for the latest new VW cars on show.

But that isn’t the end to this amazing journey; in early 2011 a newer redesigned model will hit the streets with a more angular and rakish body design. It will be the latest of the Beetles to join the Volkswagen family.

Without doubt Brazil is an emerging economy and having won the Olympic bid for 2016, no one can argue they have a vast amount of structural development to complete.

That can only mean one thing; being a large country they need a reliable and robust road transport vehicle to ferry heavy goods, building materials and resources from city to city. Brazil is a proud manufacturer of various automobiles is also responsible for producing the VW Constellation, a cab over engine truck designed by Volkswagen Truck and Bus but beautifully engineered by the Brazilians. This VW truck will no doubt be the favoured method of transport for carting millions of tonnes of heavy loads from one place to another throughout the sprawling towns and cities of South America.

VW Constellation: An Emerging Success for Brazil but Freighted with Issues?

But what about the transport costs, the environment; all this building of infrastructure, stadia – how are they going to stay green throughout this period of industrial growth. A successfull Olympics isn’t just about delivering fantastic stadiums and arena’s on time, but surely about doing it the right way with one eye open to the rest of the world – there’s no doubt that everyone else is watching inwardly on the way the perform, not just on the asphalt tracks come 2012, but on the winding roads aswell!

So what are we talking about here? Well it’s a similar idea as the shared pool car scheme. Travel with your neighbour to work and save on fuel costs and you can sleep at night, knowing you have a clear concience when it comes to doing your bit for the environment.

Well this can also be translated across to the road haulage transport and freight business model. Simply, get freight companies and haulage carriers to communicate effectively online with businesses offering space for loads on their trucks. A live stream of data providing a two way feed allows transport companies to maximise their loads and increase profits.

There is an already proven transport exchange solution that most of Europe is benefiting from, in reducing costs and lowering emissions by sharing transport vehicles in order to maxmise transport loads, journeys and reduce fuel costs so road haulage companies and carriers can maintain a green and environmentally friendly, low carbon foot print. LoginTrans offer such a platform; a freight and transport exchange software solution that enables carriers to provide space for small, medium and large freight and return loads. Its simple to use, its’ bascially an online message client that allows you to add your loads, vehicles, make offers, track and monitor and talk in real time. Basically, the Facebook equivalent for international transport companies.

This model can be implemented anywhere by connecting up the ever fast growing construction industry in brazil with the road haulage services and transport mechanisms. Roll out the , not the trucks!

Why not use Audi contract hire for car finance in stead of purchasing.

Audi contract hire is a very attractive funding choice for consumers that are in the market to finance company vehicles.

Audi car leasing can be a cost efficient process to attain a top model of car with only a minimum initial outlay, as compared with a substantial one off cost as when purchasing, which is not what every business can afford.

Audi cars are renowned for their dependability, great looks and have strong residual values which are just a few factors in favour of making them an excellent option for car leasing. Audi have developed some fantastic automobiles over the years. Renowned for their reliability, performance and design which customers have grown to admire.

What factors influences consumers to use Audi contract hire as opposed to purchasing outright?

Reliability makes Audi the perfect choice for a company car with plenty of models to choose from, starting from the small A1 up to the luxurious A8. Audi leasing gives consumers the opportunity to replace their vehicles frequently, say every 2 to 3 years without the risk of depreciation while removing any vehicle disposal problems.

Small initial outlay – There are lots of businesses who are not always in a position to make a large initial payment, which is were Audi leasing removes this problem since only a low initial payment is normally required from the finance company.

Prestige low cost motoring – Audi contract hire gives traders the monthly payments when taken with maintenance.

Vat registered businesses may claim back a proportion of the vat charged on their monthly contract hire payments.

Vehicle costs saved – as the contract hire companies can recover Vat on qualifying car purchases this lowers their capital expense, passing the reduction on to lower the consumers’ monthly costs.

Flexibility of Audi contract hire – businesses might have several options at the conclusion of the contract subject to the conditions on the finance agreement. These conditions may include give the vehicle back and start once more with a new vehicle leasing deal, ask for an extension on the current contract or the leasing company may be prepared to sell the vehicle to the customer.

TAX benefits – Audi cars tend to have low CO2 emissions, which translate into Tax savings for both businesses and their employees.

Business and Personal contract hire are popular finance choices for Audi car leasing, providing customers’ with prestige vehicles within a reasonable monthly budget.

Efficiency is the name of the game in today’s auto industry. With a growing interest in eco-friendly driving solutions, automakers around the globe are revamping even their classic vehicles to make them greener. Volkswagen is no exception in following this trend.

It would seem that most automakers would start out with a line of compact cars when making the shift to hybrid technology, rather than starting out with the vehicles that have an overall reputation of being gas guzzlers. However, VW is going against the grain on this, with their Touareg SUV being the first VW production hybrid.

The 2011 Volkswagen Touareg hybrid is an 8-speed automatic. While idling, or when the accelerator is not being depressed, the gas component shuts off to cut down on fuel consumption and emissions. Fortunately, the hybrid version does not compromise the elements which have given it a loyal following in the UK. The off-road and towing credentials that drivers look for when buying an SUV remain unaffected in the hybrid model. The Touareg hybrid boasts a trailer load limit of 3.5 tonnes and a fuel consumption figure of 34.4 mpg. The price tag might be a bit of a shock over the other Touareg models, however, at £54,995 listed on Volkswagen’s website, whereas the SE is listed as £38,255.

The fact that the German automaker has shown such ambition in debuting the hybrid powertrain in an SUV rather than a compact car is likely a positive indication that other VW models will follow suit as well. In fact, earlier this year, the automaker also said that it had a VW Jetta hybrid in the works, which is scheduled to debut in 2012. A growing emphasis on fuel efficiency and environmental consciousness has fueled the hybrid movement among carmakers worldwide. Time will tell whether current Touareg drivers will trade in their current vehicles for the more environmentally-friendly alternative, but the automaker is confidently pushing forward with even more of its models going green.

Going green is the newest trend among all vehicles, from inexpensive economy cars to pricey performance cars. Many automakers have incorporated clean hybrid alternatives, one of which is the German automaker Audi. Their clean diesel cars feature TDI (turbocharged direct injection) to maximize efficiency and minimize emissions. Even so, many drivers have expressed an interest in a hybrid version of their vehicles.

After much speculation from car fans and plenty of rumors circulating that the Audi Q5 hybrid was set to premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, Audi confirmed the story was untrue; however, the German car manufacturing company does indeed have a Q5 hybrid in mind. The company has shown hybrid concepts at auto shows before, one of which was their A8. Reports state that the Q5 will feature the same hybrid configuration as that found in the Audi A8 concept. This is comprised of a 2.0L 4-cylinder fuel and motor combination. Other specs of the Audi A8 concept included a 0-60 mph speed of 7.5 seconds, 245 horsepower, and 38 miles to the gallon.

While Audi has shown a reluctance to jump on the hybrid bandwagon, they have kept environmentally conscious with the belief that diesel offers the superior environmental friendliness in their vehicles. Currently they tout TDI as superior clean diesel, and while it is so, many drivers look forward to the day that an Audi electric-motor hybrid will finally hit the production line.

The automaker has caused much speculation among their audience, featuring an Audi A8 concept car at the Geneva Auto Show earlier in 2010; on top of that, car aficionados have circulated rumors amongst themselves of the Q5 going hybrid. Only time will tell whether they indeed decide to push forward with the hybrid concept, but for now, they offer clean diesel as a show of solidarity toward the environment.

For those who want more performance out of their Lexus vehicles, there is a line of aftermarket products just for that. Many people rely on a one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to aftermarket products; however, this almost always poses a problem as the part’s performance might not work as well on a Lexus as, say, a Honda.

F Sport equipment is manufactured exclusively not only for Lexus, but for specific Lexus models, which means that each one is uniquely engineered to fit seamlessly into the proper model. These accessories uphold the same standards as the Lexus OEM performance parts. Because of their high quality, they actually add value to the vehicle rather than lowering it; usually, buyers are skeptical about buying cars with aftermarket parts. Since F Sport parts are essentially integrated into the vehicle, they are not really considered add-ons, per se, but enhancements.

Another advantage is that these parts are protected by warranty. There is always a risk to buying aftermarket performance parts, and upon reading the fine print, drivers might learn that the warranty on non-OEM parts either has no warranty, or a very short or strict one. F Sport parts are covered by a 12-month warranty, or the remainder of the vehicle’s warranty, whichever one is greater. This means if they’re installed at the dealership when the car is purchased, the parts are covered for the life of the new-vehicle warranty. When drivers finance a new vehicle and add in the F Sport option, these costs are rolled into the monthly payments.

Finally, F Sport parts can be financed. Rather than paying upfront for aftermarket performance parts, buyers can roll the costs of the equipment into their monthly payments so that they drive off the lot with their vehicle personalized according to their own needs.

The F Sport line is engineered for those who want performance and luxury all rolled into one. Lexus has upheld its reputation of high standards in manufacturing in the face of controversy, and the F Sport performance line is no different.
